ALRIGHTY. hello again C: i'm feeling pretty festive this year after getting a year older ^^ BUT not only festive but very giving. i noticed many ppl trying this and i was convinced to try one myself and i thought why not? OHGOSH i love december.

THE BASICS

write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

I wish for a giant poster of the princess and the frog (or any other disney animation movie.)

I wish to be able to spend a day with my best friend at a special place

I wish to get at least one disney artbook (all these years i've really want to look at some good fantastic disney art<3)

I wish for more warmer fashionable clothes for winter

I wish for all animals to be happy (i hope we can all help the animals in a way)

I wish for handmade arts (plushies, fanart...etc. It makes me happy that it's not bought but something that came from the thought)

I wish to see *Blithegirl since she was like a childhood sister in the past and she supported and inspired my drawings C:>

I wish for anything involving sea creatures, dragons, dinosaurs, and animals (they make my heart beat faster whenever i look at them <333 )

I wish to see snow fall instead of rain or hail. (COMMMMAAAAAN CLOUDS PRODUCE!)

I wish to meet and befriend more artists C: (i'd LOVE to make some more new friends and just PARTY ONLINE but recently i've been to shy of a gal to even communicate with the really popular artists on here.)

and i dunno if this is cheating but "i also WISH for ALL of you to have the best Christmas your little hearts could bear "

SIGH school days are a killing me and i'm feeling SUPER BAD for not being productive enough, what kind of a artist am i? =_=;
anyways i'm just in the mood for updating my journal my deviantart is kinda deserted....OKAY VERY. but i would like to know... ANY ONE FRIGGIN' EXCITED FOR PRINCESS AN' THE FROG CUZ I KNOW I AM. oh gosh. can't believe...it's next week GAAAAAAAahahhhahahahaha<3 yeah i'm suchadork when it comes to disney. Pooh wHY does it have to be next week? why can't it be on my birffffday this fridaaaay?!? guh, what bad luck. oh well, that's just my spazz of the day. IT'S ALSO FINALLY CHRISTMAS! oh goodies C: i hope i have more time to draw this time for the break.
